Preparation towards outlawing the importation of ‘Tokumbo’ or ‘Used’ vehicles into Nigeria.
Bringing all Nigerian vehicle owners together under one umbrella of an Association – VOAN, for excellent motoring experience through membership solidarity.
The Association shall issue a ‘letter of comfort’ to the authority on your behalf which is done by queuing method (first-in-first-out) based on seriality of membership numbers!
The following vehicle types which have established their Assembling Plants in Nigeria qualify for the financing scheme: Nissan, Vox Wagen, Anammco in Enugu, Leyland-Busan of Ibadan, Hyundai cars, Ashok-Leyland buses, Innoson Vehicles, kia cars, Shacman, Sino FAW and MAN Trucks, Honda and Century Auto (Toyota), TATA, Coscharis Auto (Ford, Joylong , Dongfeng), Globe Motors (Higer), Leventis (FOTON-Diamler), Kewalram Chanrai (GM, Mitsubishi) and Tilad (Shinery), and Aston from over 14 vehicle assembling plants in Nigeria.
